Eventually, after some years they also released the server binaries. There's still a glimmer of hope for the future looking at how they treated Quake Live. It's all tied to the business model of the game somehow. None of that matters and the invariable answer you will receive when asking for server binaries, besides "NO" is that the "game is not for you". ![]() It doesn't matter if you routing path to the servers is crappy and you have 100ms ping while trying to play a custom match with a person in the same building as you because you both have to connect to a server far away instead of hosting your games on LAN. (You should have known what you're getting into). It doesn't matter if you have an intermittent connection and can't always play the game even if you paid for it.
